Join us as we celebrate saisons with our third annual Saisonathon event during Illinois Craft Beer Week! We’re switching things up a bit this year. Same amount of interesting and diverse saisons – many brewed locally – but at a new location!
It’s all happening Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Forbidden Root beginning at 5 PM. All types of saisons will be on tap, from those fruited, to those barrel-aged, to just standard saisons. Saisons go well with food and Forbidden Root’s got you covered, from their delicious burger (ranked 9th best in Chicago) to their $1 wings in three different sauces.

Whiner Beer Co. – Bumbo (Rum barrel-aged saison with orange peel, lemon peel and cinnamon) – 5.8%
Middle Brow Beer Co. – May 4th, 2019 (kvass) – 3.8%

Lo Rez – Voxel (Mosaic dry-hopped saison) – 6.2%
Cruz Blanca – Todo Uno (saison aged for 17 months in French oak puncheons) – 6.6%
Maplewood Brewing – Foeder aged saison with wine grapes
Off Color – Brett Table Saison – 4.8%
Illuminated – Coping Mechanism (saison with passion fruit) – 7%
