Third Space has been around for 4 years this month! Feels like forever ago we found out about them on our Brew City trip (it was July 2019), but they’ve been a constant presence in my house since then. The trip up isn’t that bad (Transient and Triptych – two of my other close but not really brewery faves – are a bit farther time-wise) and the beers are always solid at worst. So in honor of Third Space’s 4th anniversary, here’s Double Barrel Nexus!
It’s always exciting to find a new brewery. Even though I had heard of Odious Cellars in passing, I had completely forgotten about them until I recently heard of their launch at Pilot Project on September 12. 2020. Needless to say, I was excited to get some sour beer from them.
Revolution wants your money. All of it, every month of the year. Their year-rounds are outstanding, but the real hurt to the wallet comes when the Deep Wood beers get released. Taking a page from the NFL playbook, Revolution has expanded their Deep Wood program and releases gradually. It started off as one-to-two bombers being released each month from November to January/February. Not too bad on the ol’ bank account.
It’s always nice to feel like you discovered a brewery. Even though 1840 Brewing had been around since 2017, even though people recommended that we stop there on our Great Milwaukee trip of 2019, even though we actually didn’t discover...
